THE ADVENTURE BEGINS. sorta.
…I’m a little delayed in these first few posts because our schedule has been absolutely CRAZY. But it’s glorious!!!
I suppose a proper introduction is in order. I’m Lily, and this is my wonderful boyfriend James, and we are adventurers, so to speak. We try to make every part of our lives adventurous.
Also, we realize that our names are that of the parents in Harry Potter. We have been told this several times. No need to worry, we haven’t forgotten.
Which is why we are having a marvelous adventure in Florida- James and I decided to travel down to Orlando, Florida and visit Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park, where they are opening the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this June. Unfortunately that means we kinda jumped the gun coming down here, but there have been several rumors of soft openings. And while we have not been able to see the entire world, they can’t exactly keep Hogwarts from view, as well as sealing off cracks in the fences. Just the other day we saw Prof. Sprout’s greenhouse while peeking around. And they have redone the Dueling Dragons coaster, which is now called Dragon Challenge (reference to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), and are allowing people to ride.
But we have tons to tell you, so while we are a bit behind in daily blogging, we will be writing about each specific day of our adventures. Keep an eye out!!!
